This project was a special one for us. A long-time customer requested that we be the ones to fully correct and ceramic coat their boat, which typically sat in a lake in Texas. Years of exposure had left heavy water etching and fading in the gel coat, requiring an extensive restoration.
Customer Trust
The work began with hard wet sanding to remove the etched and damaged surface layers. This step is crucial for boats that spend most of their life in the water, as it allows us to level out imperfections that polishing alone can’t fix. Once the sanding was complete, we carefully polished the surface back to a clear, glossy finish.

After hours of refinement, we were able to restore the gel coat’s depth and shine, giving the boat a refreshed look that was nearly unrecognizable compared to when we arrived.
